Jinghao Chen Ph.D.

I am a Program Specific Researcher at ASHBi, KUIAS, Kyoto University, working with Prof. Sungrim Seirin-Lee. Before that, I received my Ph.D. in Mathematics at University of California, Irvine under the supervision of Prof. John S. Lowengrub.

My primary research interests lie in computational and applied mathematics, with a strong focus on mathematical biology. I develop mathematical models using differential equations (ODEs/PDEs) to capture and study biological patterns and phenomena.

As long as the underlying PDEs and numerical algorithms are solid, much can be learned through computing.
